About The Artist
Born and raised in small town, Dryden, Ontario.
I am a proud (but medicated) mother of 3 beautiful, but spoiled children.
I had always aspired to become an artist of some kind, but got married young and had kids early in my life.
For three years I was employed evenings as a disk jockey and cleaned houses during the day.
An old friend came to me one day and asked me to take a job as her receptionist.
That didn’t appeal to me, since I don’t have much patience with the public.
So I decided to hunt for a piercing education.
I searched online for many days trying to find somewhere close.
I found this cool little school in Detroit Michigan called “Worlds Only Tattoo School”.
So I gave them a call. I decided to take both piercing and tattooing.
A month later I found myself in Detroit Michigan, 25 hours or more from home.
I was spending cash I didn’t have on an education to be something that I wasn’t sure I could devote myself to.
The first year was hell. I didn’t realize how hard it would be.
I knew I had potential, but was so impatient I expected to leave school and be an artist.
During the first four months, I realized that I was the brunt of allot of talk amongst my local townspeople.
Mad parents because I was piercing their kids, and people not happy with their ink.
So I pulled up my socks, moved into my own shop and bought a bunch of stock.
Now, three years of experience later, I have learned, don’t go into business with friends.
It’s a good way to lose a friend, and follow your dreams and you can be whatever you want to be.
